Papercraft Star 165

Hello!

Half way through the week already ... and another photo inspiration challenge at

Last week we had so many beautiful entries ... Thank you to all who played along!

This week we have this photo for you

I would love to see this in real life ... Isn't it just beautifully decorated?
I spotted those black birds in there and thought it would be nice to have a decorated bird house

It initially started off with a wooden bird house shape that I was just going to decorate ... somehow it ended up mounted and became a wall hanging ... I looks so much nicer against the black BG

I'm still using those lovely Timeless MPD stamps and dies which I love so much from my friend Mona ... They just seem to fit everywhere and anywhere

Lots of textures too ... and a little autumn butterfly done with distress inks
If you are wondering where the occupant of this lovely home is ... well he flew off to get some pumpkins

So what will inspire you in this photo? I can't wait to see ...  link up your entry at Papercraft Star this week

Before I go I have to say Thank You to my blog friend Sue who identified my little autumn dressed bug as a Shield bug

This particular one is an adult Hawthorn shield bug ... not surprising as I have a lots of hawthorn trees growing at the rear of my garden ...

Thanks so much for visiting me today ... don't forget to visit the blog to check out the lovely creations from the rest of the Papercraft Star team

Enjoy your week and keep safe

Till soon

Stunning make Ross, love your birdhouse and you are so right, it looks great against that black background! Loved the inspiration photo too I have to say!

A gorgeous card inspired by a beautiful photo!! The shield bug you found is quite damaging as it has a strong proboscis that drills under the bark to the cambium and also spreads viruses. A 'squish' is in order when you spot one! ((hugs)) Rebecca

This has to be one of the "prettiest" autumn birdhouses I have seen!!! What a great idea to make a "fall" butterfly...and I love the use of the clock, very clever indeed!! Another masterpiece for sure!!! Where does the time go, I haven't been able to do many challenges lately, something I am going to change today...lol!!

Love your wall hanging, Ros, love the colors you used and your wood grain pattern. So glad someone knew what the bug was. I is related to our squash bugs, that attack our squash plants, but ours are gray, same shape! It is much prettier! Have a great afternoon!

I love your card. It really captured the warmth and texture of the photo. It looks like such a cute little house that I'd love to live in (an decorate for every season).
