Giving me Goosebumps

Happy Friday!!
Another week gone by ...

In between the usual household chores and some bread making yesterday I got a chance to play with some inks
I had a couple of butterflies left over from the project I showed you in my previous post and I discovered a bottle of Goosebumps in my cupboard ... I must have bought that over a year ago and never tried it ... well now I'm hooked!
It gives a lovely definition to stamped images ... I made a card for the challenge over at

This is my first time playing here ... and the challenge is to make your own background
Here's my card

The BGstamp I used is one my friend Keren gave to me ... from Indigo Blu I think... I sprayed it with Goosebumps, dabbed it a little and took a few Memento ink pads and started sponging

I then did the same with the butterflies which were originally just cut from the same plain white card stock ... This time I used a small flower and leaf stamp that was also hiding away ... unfortunately I don't know where it's from and to be honest it didn't look very interesting until I applied this technique

I'm really loving the bright colours lately ... it must be Spring lol!
I didn't think this card needed much more so all I added was a silvery branch and stamped a little text on the bottom right corner

I do hope you all have a great weekend ...
Thanks for stopping by

~ Ros ~

Such a beautiful card!
Bread making, oh I must get some tips from you, I was never successful in making bread, and it is so funny, just before I do some blog hopping, I was just searching for bread recipe, thinking that I might have some time tomorrow to give it another try!

WOW - absolutely GORGEOUS, Ros, such wonderful colors for Spring! TFS
I did some bread making yesterday too - I tried some gluten free bread - it is actually very nice and doesn't give a heavy feeling after eating either. Have a lovely weekend!

This just oozes spring. The use of the branch is inspired and I love the background. I've wondered about Goosebumps and I can now see how effective they can be. Happy weekend.

Ros, what you said. I have goosebumps from this card! I didn't know goosebumps could be bottled (aren't there ever such clever people in the world!) and that you could use them on cards in this exquisite way. I mean, shut up! This is being pinned and truly needs to be hanging in an art gallery somewhere! Same thing with your butterfly yesterday. Picture me: bowing in awe!!

Have a great day!! Hugs, Darnell

Oh wow, Ros... what a beauty! This is gorgeous... LOVE these colors and your background!!! The pearl body is such a nice touch... love it!
I've used Goosebumps several times, the first being a learning experience I'll not forget. I didn't cover my desk and keyboard with paper towels beforehand and just started spraying my project. Needless to say, they both still have "bumps" on them. I don't think this stuff will ever come off, LOL!
Have a great weekend!
